On Tuesday 25th February 2025, we released our brand new Defigo app— Defigo v2.
The Defigo app is your main tool as a Defigo user, used to: answer the doorbell to visitors, open the door, change the information on the call button, and register a keyfob. All of these features remain the same in the Defigo v2 app.
The Defigo v2 app features a new, sleek design with intuitive and simple navigation. Users should find the transition to the new app completely seamless.
Defigo v2 does come with some new and exciting changes— the biggest and most requested one being Favorites.
Favorites
Favorites is the first screen you will see after logging into Defigo v2. The Favorites tab lets you add your frequently used doors for easy and quick access.

If, for instance, you work in an office and have a Defigo Intercom on the entrance and a Smart Reader on the office door, and you use both everyday, you can save them in your Favorites page.
When you open the app everyday, you will see only those two doors on the favorites page (the first page of the app), meaning no more scrolling through all the doors you have access to to find the ones you want.
Doors can be added and removed quickly and easily from the Favorites page. You can also change the order of your Favorite doors to streamline your door opening process even more.
To learn more about how to add, remove and edit your Favorite doors, take a look at our 'How to' video.
Log in with your phone number
Another new change that comes with Defigo v2 is the ability to choose how you log in— whether that be with your phone number or with your email address. With your cell phone being your door key, it only makes sense for you to be able to log in using only your phone number.
For those that do not have access to, or do not have an email address, this is the ideal way to ensure that you can easily access your Defigo account.
For such things as changing your password, your phone number can be used to receive communication rather than your email.
The Defigo v2 app is a clear upgrade from the previous app, helping tenants and administrators alike access their buildings even more seamlessly.

The Defigo app is now available for all Defigo users to download in the app store or play store (only downloadable on mobile devices or tablets).
